As in the case of top ten people, top entertainment list is also dominated by the sexy damsels of Bollywood. Though cricket leads the list of sports, cricket stars are nowhere near the silver screen beauties.

Despite all the 'entertainment' bend of mind, people are concerned about matters pertaining to their daily life, as is evident from the list of top news search.

From Sixth Pay Commission to different blasts and terror strikes find place here. US elections, UPA trust vote, Bhaji Srishanth fight also are there in the news list. If cricket tops the list most searched words on Yahoo! India Mobile, Katrina Kaif comes second and Asin is third.

And Deepika Padukone is fourth in the list again dominated by the dream girls. And when it comes to top online sites search, Google and Rediff lead the Yahoo list, while Yahoo comes third.

“Extreme proliferation of information and paucity of time is fueling the human desire to get the right answers faster than ever before, prompting them to look for newer search experiences” said Gopal Krishna, VP and Head of Audience – Emerging Markets, Yahoo!

“People are showing a strong preference for a search experience, which integrates relevant text, images, and video content information from across the web onto a single search results page.”

According him, these search trends provide greater insight on consumer search behaviour, which in turn helps in making the right information available to people more quickly and easily.

A similar list released last month by Google also had shown the Bollywood damsel dominance and Katrina Kaif was the star there. So what do you feel about it? Bollywood is the epicenter of Indian Net search explosion?
