NEW DELHI , INDIA: The Income Tax Department is seeking $210 million from Bharti Airtel, the country's top mobile phone carrier, for non-payment of taxes related to its overseas operations, the Press Trust of India news agency reported on its website.
A Bharti Airtel spokesman could not comment immediately.
