20-inch widescreen monitor with webcam

CHENNAI: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. (ASUS), a provider of high-quality LCD monitors, today introduced the 20-inch, wide-screen ASUS PW201, which comes with a built-in 1.3M-pixel webcam to deliver high-resolution video conferencing right out of the box.

Its innovative pivot neck design further enables both vertical and horizontal viewing angles for optimized viewing comfort during different visual applications, ASUSTeK said in a statement.

According to Leena Ajmera, product manager LCD Business, ASUS India, “The ASUS 20” PW201 LCD Monitor comes packed in with many features, so as to facilitate the usage requirements of Business users as well as gamers and movie enthusiasts. This LCD monitor is aesthetically designed and is a prestigious iF Design award winner.”

The monitor is fitted with a 1.3M-pixel webcam with built-in capability for Video conference; Vertical for web surfing and horizontal for viewing panoramic photos; and SPLENDID Video Intelligence Technology. The monitor is designed with user experience in mind, with BD (0 bright dot) policy for LCD panels, the statement added.
