To coordinate the tasks of various departments and ease its operations, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IITR), has launched its ADVAITA IIT Roorkee ERP Project Go-Live.
The digitization project, which is expected to be completed in phases, will connect all its three campuses - Saharanpur, Greater Noida, and Roorkee, its main campus.
First phase: It will see the digitization of core functional matters pertaining to accounts, disbursements, purchase orders, inventory management etc.
Second phase: It will involve pertaining to the matter such as analytics, business information management, advanced financial reporting, collaborative interfaces, paper-free.
IIT will also hold an interaction with Atos, a digital services firm, where it will discuss about project's scope, how to create a paperless ecosystem, the mechanism of automated monitoring and advanced accounting processes, and use of historical data to assess budgeting, among others.
