IIT Recruitment 2021: Project Positions (3) at IIT Guwahati, Stipend Rs 28510; Apply by Jan 19

IIT recruitment 2021 is currently underway for 3 project vacancies at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati). The vacancies available are that of Jr Project Fellow, Assistant Project Engineer, Jr Project Fellow for which eligible candidates need to submit online applications. Those selected will be paid a salary of Rs 28510 based on their qualifications and the post for which they are selected.

The title of the project is “Archiving, Modelling, and the Visualization of the Eco-Cultural Heritage of the Majuli River Island of Assam”.

The notification on the IIT Guwahati website says that there are a total of 3 vacancies for which candidates with a BE or BTech in engineering, Master’s degree such as MSc, and Bachelor’s degree in the relevant fields along with suitable work experience can apply. The details of the vacancies available are as follows:

1. Jr. Project Fellow (01)

Qualifications: BE/ B.Tech in CSE/ IT.

Stipend: Rs. 28,510 per month

2. Assistant Project Engineer (01)

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Design preferably with experience in 3D animation tools and multimedia content

development.

Stipend: Rs. 28,510 per month

3. Jr. Project Fellow (01)

Qualifications: Master's degree in Science or Bachelor's degree in Engg with exposure in GIS and remote sensing application.

Stipend: Rs. 28,510 per month

How to apply for IIT Recruitment 2021?

Candidates have to appear in the Online Interview for which have to send an application or CV with details of all educational qualifications, experience, contact address, phone no., e-mail, Skype-id, etc. by 19th January (Tuesday), 3 PM to the PI at the email address: sukumar@iitg.ac.in. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for an online interview through e-mail which will also contain the Skype-id for interview and schedule.

Further, the performance of the candidate in the interview will decide his/her selection. IIT Guwahati will also not pay any TA/DA to the candidates for appearing in the test and interview.
