IIT Kanpur- SIIC invites startups for Hack and Reboot Hackathon to build Deep Tech Solutions

IIT Kanpur has the Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre. They have organised the Hack & Reboot under the Technology Incubation and Development of Entrepreneurs Scheme (TIDE 2.0). The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) will also support the Hackathon.

This TIDE scheme promotes tech entrepreneurship through financial and technical support to incubators. Further, the incubation centres should support ICT startups using emerging technologies to develop market viable solutions to envision the new normal.

So, if you are a beginner or an expert, here is the perfect chance to hone your skills. Participate in the IIT Kanpur's Hackathon. The Hack & Reboot will include Workshops on Pitch Design and Mentoring Opportunity from Technical and Industrial experts for all shortlisted teams.

Themes of the Hack And Reboot Hackathon

The IIT Kanpur organised Hackathon has 4 themes.

1. Medical Technologies & Healthcare Innovations On The Front Lines

2. Amplifying The Tech-Voice: Empowering Education By Virtual Engagement And Learning For Rural India Beyond Covid-19

3. Fostering The Technology In The Finance World By Empowering The Safe Digitalized Services

4. Cybersecurity: A Challenge To Build A Safe & Secure New Normal For The Remote Workforce

IIT Kanpur will announce the winners on September 1. So, the last date to apply is August 30.

How to participate?

Thus, if you have a deep-tech idea, that can solve one of the above 4 problems, apply here. Further, deep-tech includes solutions based on Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning, Augmented Reality or Virtual Reality, Blockchain, Cyber-Physical Systems, Internet of Things, Robotics and/or UAVs and Drones.

Benefits of the program

Also, you should not be a startup who has raised any EiR fellowships/grants/Go to Market in past or continuing it from other funding organizations.
