IIT JAM 2021 Application Correction Form to open in November 1st Week; everything you need to know

IIT JAM 2021 Application Correction will start in November 2020. Students who wish to change their centre city or edit their subjects, name or gender can send applications through online mode. The dates will come out soon (keep this space bookmarked for a direct link). Tentatively, IIT JAM 2021 Application Correction form will, thus, open in November 1st Week.

The Indian Institute of Technology's Joint Admission of M.Sc helps applicants get admission in the IISc Bangalore, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Indore, IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Bhubaneshwar, IIT Delhi, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Guwahati, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee, etc.

What changes can a candidate make?

Candidates should have to fill the Application Form as per their IIT JAM Eligibility. They also can correct these application form details:

• Candidate’s Name (only minor spelling mistake with document proof).

• Date of Birth (minor change in date/ month/ year with document proof).

• Parent/Guardian’s Name (only minor spelling mistake with document proof).

• Category (with document proof).

• City Change

• Gender

• PwD Status

• Category change

All details except city change will carry an additional fee of ₹500. Other than that, you will have to pay the fee of the changed status. For example:

• Gender change from Female to Male/Transgender (not applicable for SC/ST and PwD candidates) - Rs 750 for a Single paper & Rs 1050 for two papers

• Category change from SC/ST to Gen/OBC (not applicable for Female and PwD candidates) Rs 750 for a Single paper & Rs 1050 for two papers

• PwD status change from PwD to non-PwD (not applicable for Female and SC/ST candidates) Rs 750 for a Single paper & Rs 1050 for two papers

How to make changes in the IIT JAM 2021 Application Correction Form?

• Firstly, students need to visit the official website of JOAPS. (Will upload link soon)

• They have to submit the application form with required details such as Enrolment-ID or Registration-ID and Password.

• After logging in successfully, they have to click on the link of application form correction.

• Applicants can, further, correct their mistake in the application and submit it.
