An electrical engineering graduate from IIT Kanpur, Agarwal had a stint at a Silicon Valley chip design firm in the Silicon Valley before joining IIM-B. Prior to the offer, he did an internship with Barclays last summer.

The second best offer of Rs.3 million was from consulting firm to Venkatesh Shankararaman for a posting in Mumbai. Before joining IIM-B, Shankararaman had graduated from Ohio State University and IIT-Chennai.
