IIHT partners VMware to deliver training in India

BANGALORE, INDIA: VMware, Inc., the global leader in virtualization solutions from the desktop through the datacenter and to the cloud, today announced that it has signed on IIHT as a VMware Authorised Training Centre in India.

This agreement with IIHT, a leader in IT Infrastructure Management training, represents another step that VMware is taking to meet rising demand for skills in virtualization technology across India.

As the leader in virtualization, VMware has been at the forefront in helping Indian organizations realise the business benefits of virtualization, to drive sustained growth and success.

According to industry analysts, virtualization technology has been one of the fastest growing and evolving sectors within the IT industry in recent years. Organizations across industry sectors like IT/ITES in India are amongst early adopters of virtualization. This has resulted in a significant growth in demand for VMware certified professionals.

With this announcement, IIHT will deliver world-class VMware technology training to students in India. IIHT will offer VMware certified training courses to customers, channel partners and the general public on a range of different levels. IIHT is delivering VMware virtualization technology training through a combination of theory and hands-on training in virtual labs, leveraging VMware certified trainers and VMware official courseware.

IIHT’s VMware courses and certifications cover topics such as system installation, configuration and integration; they also focus on equipping students with hands-on experience to enable them to take on professional assignments.
