iGate in tech services pact with Radian Group

MUMBAI: Software services provider iGate Global Solutions Ltd. has signed a three -year technology services agreement with Radian Group Inc.

"We will be managing their mortgage insurance portfolio business across their business centres in Philadelphia, New York and London," Vice President Krishna Nacha told Reuters.

"This comes on the heels of a few projects which we have done in the past for Radian and builds on that," he added.

Philadelphia-based Radian Group is a credit risk management company.

The partnership also allows iGate, for which mortgage is the focus area, to get into insurance and credit enhancement space, he said.

"By aligning with iGate we are able to tap into its global work force and infrastructure improving Radian's delivery capacity and maintaining a clear focus on expenses," senior vice president and chief information officer of Radian, Lawrence DelGatto, said in a statement.
