CHICAGO, US: Ifbyphone, a voice infrastructure and applications development company providing enterprise class services to small and medium sized businesses (SMBs), has announced the launch of v 2.5, further confirmation of Ifbyphone as the 'Voice of the Web.'

Ifbyphone 2.5 is distinctly unique in the market because it provides a complete solution for the integration of an SMB's web and telephone presence. The 2.5 services support the integration of web-based click to call, toll free call routing and voice broadcast services into a powerful tool for SMBs. These applications facilitate telephone conversations between a SMB and its customers; which increase sales and reduce service delivery costs.

"We spent over two years developing and enhancing our technology specifically to enable SMB's access to the same kind of robust voice based lead generation and conversion tools that large companies enjoy. 2.5 provides the benefits of custom enterprise class IVR solutions at a fraction of the cost," said Irv Shapiro, CEO, Ifbyphone. The 2.5 platform combines click to call, calls to toll free numbers and outbound voice broadcast services into a web configured voice application platform.

Today's consumers browse the web for products and services. Ifbyphone 2.5 converts these browsers into callers and routes these clicks and toll free calls to the appropriate contact at a business. All calls are tracked with extension reporting options.

According to an August 2006 Nielsen/NetRatings and WebVisible survey, 46 percent of Internet users indicated that they had used the Internet to find local businesses, and of those users, 68 percent said they would use the phone to contact a vendor as opposed to 16 percent who would use email. To succeed today an SMB needs to both convert web site visitors and communicate with customers.

Ifbyphone 2.5 enhances customer communications with voice tools, which are fully integrated into a business's backend databases. Voice Broadcast services support replacing email with voice communications. "Email is no longer an effective tool for business development. No matter how well a message may be crafted, the best campaign is worthless if it winds up in a spam filter or junk folder," adds Shapiro.

Ifbyphone 2.5 includes:
Click to Call with Custom Dialog Forms
Integrated Call Routing and Reporting
Find Me
Virtual Voice Mail
Virtual Receptionist
Outbound Voice Broadcast
Web Configured Voice Dialogs (SurVo)
Backend Database Integration
A Complete Call Management API
