According to the release, The Advanced Adapter allows the administrator to determine whether the Linux RedHat OS is used as managed (Target) resource or as an authorized (Trusted) source of user information for your application or Identity Infrastructure.

The Linux Pioneer provisioning agent is an important factor in the IdF Advanced Adapter Series and the IdF LDAPv3 Gateway Server. This agent enables the Advanced Adapter the ability to provide a rich feature set for supporting provisioning and reconciliation, added the release.

"Providing standard integration into RedHat allows companies to remove another manual task and provides ease of integration into their current IDM processes," said Chad Cromwell, CTO.

Among the key feature that can be expected when using IdentityForge Advanced Adapter for RedHat are ease of deployment, standard LDAPv3 integration interface and vendor agnostic. The software will provide deep integration, providing functionality like: Authentication, Group Membership Assignments, User Password Resets and many more.
