NEW DELHI: Oracle has announced the first integrated release of the Oracle Identity Management suite since acquiring Oblix in March 2005. The release delivers the industry's most complete identity solution to safeguard information, critical systems and applications against unauthorized access across heterogeneous computing environments.
According to the press release, serving as the security backbone for Oracle Fusion Middleware, the new release brings together the best identity management capabilities from Oracle and Oblix and further extends support for heterogeneous systems. Organizations can use the solution to manage enterprise-wide identities for Oracle and non-Oracle technologies. The product extends support for all leading applications, directories and platforms.
The new release of Oracle Identity Management includes a number of enhancements to the Oracle COREid Access and Identity, Oracle COREid Federation, Oracle COREid Provisioning and Oracle Web Services Manager components of the suite, further extending its leading heterogeneous capabilities. These features include Oracle COREid Access and Identity, Oracle COREid Federation, Oracle COREid Provisioning and Oracle Web Services Manager.
