Speaking at the launch CEO, Idea Cellular Vikram Mehmi said that for the first time in India, a single prepaid product would cater to the needs of low, medium and heavy users. “Superpower is a no-compromise product and would prove profitable for the customers. This product based upon its flexibility, transparency and simplicity, will expand the market for all times to come,” Mehmi said.

Vice-President Marketing, Idea Cellular Pradeep Shrivastava said that under this scheme the subscriber would get full talktime for the recharge coupons with daily deductions of Rs.5. He said that with the nominal daily deduction, Idea Superpower would be a win-win for all prepaid customers.

“With most of the service providers introducing a number of schemes, the superpower is the most flexible one offering the subscribers a easy and inexpensive way to remain connected. The call rates would remain the same in this new scheme.
