ICICI Venture to buy Tata Infomedia stake

BOMBAY: ICICI Venture will acquire Tata group's stake in publishing firm Tata Infomedia Ltd, at 176 rupees per share, a source close to the deal said on Monday.

He said the firm will also make an open offer to public shareholders following the acquisition.

According to data from the Bombay Stock Exchange, the Tatas held nearly 50 percent of the company as on June 30, 2003.
