ICICI OneSource steps in Buenos Aires

NEW DELHI: Business process outsourcing firm ICICI OneSource has announced the commencement of operations at its 400-seat facility in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

This is ICICI OneSource’s fourth global delivery center outside India and expands its delivery footprint to US, Ireland and Buenos Aires, in addition to 10 centers across India. The current operation will also add Spanish language capabilities to ICICI OneSource’s service offering. It will provide one of its US-based telecom clients with a variety of back office transaction processing functions from this center, an ICICI OneSource statement said.

Ananda Mukerji, managing director and CEO, ICICI OneSource, said, “The Argentina center is in line with our strategy to establish a global delivery platform. This reflects our transition from an offshore partner to a preferred outsourcing partner for our key customer relationships.”

He further added that the telecom outsourced services market is expected to grow at a 10.7 per cent CAGR over the next five years. Currently 30 per cent of our revenue comes from our telecom vertical and we intend to grow this vertical aggressively.
