ICICI OneSource starts Rs 18 cr BPO center in Mumbai

BANGALORE: ICICI OneSource has commissioned a 500-seat offshore BPO facility in Malad, Mumbai. With the new facility, ICICI OneSource’s total capacity is expected to rise to 1350 seats spread across three facilities including two facilities located in Bangalore, India. ICICI OneSource has over 2200 employees.

The new facility set up at a cost of Rs. 18 crore includes the production areas and training rooms which can train over a hundred agents at a time, with automated infrastructure that is similar to what the agents will use once they have gone ‘live’. The facility also has a cafeteria and parking facilities as well as rest and recreation areas.



The 500-seat facility is located in the Mindspace IT Park in Malad, Mumbai and is interconnected with multiple leased lines with ICICI OneSource’s other centers in India. It is also connected to the ICICI OneSource’s Points of Presence in the U.K. and in the U.S. through dedicated, multiple telecom networks with built-in redundancy.
