ICICI Infotech selects iSpace as its channel partner for Orion

HYDERABAD: Mumbai-based ICICI Infotech Services Ltd, the infotech arm of the financial major ICICI, has selected Hyderabad-based iSpace Software technologies Ltd as its channel partner facilitating its newly launched enterprise solutions product - Orion, for the AP region.

"If we consider marketing a product like Orion all over India, it is very difficult to do it on our own, so we have opted to go for the channel route. iSpace is our first channel partner in this direction and we are in the process of appointing 10 similar channel partners all across the sub-continent," said, S Sriramane, Assistant General Manager, ICICI Infotech.

The product is being targeted at the SME segment with specific focus towards industry verticals like FMCG, trading, retail/distribution, manufacturing and Oil & Gas. "A quick implementation time of four months facilitates a rapid roll-out in the customer organization. This yields much shorter payback period," he added.

Orion is an integrated enterprise solution system that is designed to meet the enterprise solution requirements of diverse market segments. Developed on Oracle RDBMS, the product is priced at Rs 20 lakh for the end user. "In India the overall enterprise solution market is more than Rs 620 crore and we are targeting to tap around five per cent of that within one year from now from this product," he added.

iSpace has already acquired first client for Orion in Hyderabad. The company has signed Regency Ceramics as its first customer for the product out of Hyderabad. "We are talking to a number of FMCG companies based in AP and they have shown interest in this product. We are sure to have more than 10 clients within a period of six months from AP alone," said, N Satyendra Prasad, CEO for iSpace.
