ICICI Infotech, Affiance in pact for security products

HYDERABAD: ICICI Infotech has tied up with US based Affiance Group, security and loss prevention solutions provider, for the global marketing of its security products and services. "We are going to market the security products globally and in addition to that we are also providing the software development and product enhancement services to Affiance through a dedicated offshore development facility manned by 25 people in Bangalore," said ICICI Infotech Deputy GM S Sriramane.



The company is introducing two security products — Secure DVRTM and Essential Server in the Indian market and the products are priced between $ 2,500 to $ 6,000. SecureDVR provides video monitoring and surveillance solution that can be applied across industries. Using image capture technology, SecureDVR integrates closed circuit television with advanced digital technology, image retrieval and remote access for 24 hours a day.



Essential Server is a product designed towards the data protection area. It minimizes the initial investment and reduces operating costs such as administration, maintenance and training expenses. "We are going to target the small and medium sized enterprises for this product through our direct sales efforts as well as our partnerships with channels," he explained.



Affiance group is a security and loss prevention solutions provider focusing on two areas — data storage and security/ loss prevention. The company’s products protect client intellectual property, corporate and personal assets. The company delivers data storage, backup and data store for small and medium sized enterprises, corporate departments and regional offices.
