ICEpdf is a lightweight open source Java PDF rendering library that can be easily integrated within any Java-based client application or deployed on a server in headless mode as a PDF servlet (JSP or JSF).

"Our initial open source product, ICEfaces, has realized unprecedented growth and adoption across the Java developer community. With the release of ICEpdf to an open source model, we will continue to build on this tremendous momentum" said Brian McKinney, CEO of ICEsoft.

"For the last several years, ICEpdf has evolved as an extremely popular solution for enterprises requiring reliable Java-based PDF technology for serverside rendering or integration within Java client applications. We are excited about the prospects of introducing this remarkable product to the broader community of open source Java developers," added McKinney.

In support of the release of ICEpdf, ICEsoft is also launching a new community website. The site provides forum support for community users, demo's, as well as user documentation and other product related information.
