WASHINGTON: IBM will recall about 225,000 AC power adapters for several models of its laptop computer because of potential fire and electrical shock hazard, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said.
The adapters can overheat, cause damage to the circuit board and melt through its case, the safety agency said in a statement.
