IBM opens Industry Solutions Lab in India

NEW DELHI: IBM today announced the opening of an Industry Solutions Lab in New Delhi, India, which offers environment for client executives and business partners to see how IBM's advanced technologies and solutions could transform their businesses.

Modeled after the Industry Solution Labs in Hawthorne, N.Y. and Zurich, the lab is co-located with IBM’s India Research Laboratory in New Delhi and provides the capability to make research technologies accessible for all clients across all industries in India.

Each visit is tailored to meet specific needs of clients, including collaborative discussions with IBM researchers and industry experts on specific business issues and solution demonstrations, IBM said in a statement.

“IBM’s India Industry Solutions Lab is an ideal forum for clients to explore innovative ways to increase their organizations’ unique market advantages. IISL will help clients not only explore and discover how innovative solutions and cutting-edge technology can help solve business challenges but also to help leverage new technology,” said Dr Daniel Dias, director, IBM India Research Laboratory.

IBM’s IISL has a fully equipped world-class exhibit floor with facilities to demonstrate innovative solutions that address client needs across industries with specific focus on automotive, banking, chemicals and petroleum, energy and utilities, government, healthcare, retail and telecom industries.

It also provides emerging and prototype technology demonstrations to help businesses innovate and collaborate with IBM to develop first-of-a-kind solutions.
