IBM gains back NZ airline contract

BANGALORE, INDIA: Software giant IBM has earned back the contract from Air New Zealand to provide technology services and support.

IBM had been the technology service provider for Air New Zealand for a long time. Last year, the relationship between both the parties had gone sour, when Air New Zealand had faced heavy disruptions in IBM's services.

According to the media reports under this new agreement, IBM would provide new mainframe and virtual hosting services and make sure high availability to the airline.
