BOSTON, USA: International Business Machines Corp, the world's second-largest software maker, said on Tuesday it has acquired Exeros, a privately held maker of computer programs that help companies analyze data across corporate databases.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The software of Santa Clara, California-based Exeros analyzes information across multiple databases, seeking out hidden relationships that businesses might not otherwise discover.
Companies use that analysis to better identify business trends and make financial forecasts.
