HW policy to be announced at B'lore IT.com

MUMBAI: Banaglore IT.com, the annual IT trade exhibition would be hosted from November 1 to November 5, 2004 with the theme ' Shape the future with ICMT'. Formally announcing this, Karnataka IT secretary, MK Shankarlinge Gowda also disclosed that the state's hardware policy would be announced during the event.

With a backdrop that India is emerging as one of the key destinations of the global $40 billion gaming and animation industry, this year the event will host a special pavilion on animation, games and media technology.

"With Karnataka contributing one-third of the nation's IT exports, we will continue to support and build this booming industry by providing adequate infrastructure, developing real estate across the IT corridor, and honing the numerous technical educational institutions to churn out human resource talent" Gowda said.
