VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA: Hush Communications, a global provider of managed security solutions and encryption technology, has announced the launch and sale of the newly enhanced StealthSurfer by Hushmail product.

The StealthSurfer is a miniature flash drive which allows consumers to surf the Web with anonymity from any computer – even over a wireless (WiFi) connection. Using the device’s integrated Web browser, consumers can surf in an encrypted mode that masks their IP addresses and hides their web surfing from hackers and anyone else who might have get access to their networks. This is especially important for users who want to surf privately while using public wireless networks.

Ideal for those who prefer to avoid the holiday crowds and do their shopping online, or frequent coffee shop surfers, airport travelers, Internet café goers or anyone who uses their laptop wirelessly in a public “hotspot,” the StealthSurfer is the most robust and complete privacy and identity theft protection tool on the market. Shipping in time for the Holiday shopping season, the device is available in memory configurations of 2GB to 8GB, with special Holiday pricing starting at $1791.

“Online safety and security is of paramount importance to consumers these days,” explains Ben Cutler, CEO of Hush Communications. “With more and more shopping moving to the Web, it is more important than ever before to offer tools to protect consumers, especially during the very busy Holiday season.”

Optimized for the holiday shopper

Using the integrated Tor software, StealthSurfer ensures that Web shoppers can surf anonymously. The Tor “network of virtual tunnels” serves to mask the shopper’s IP address, protecting them from malicious websites. In addition, the unit comes bundled with Roboform password manager software that allows shoppers to manage their many disparate online logins, user IDs and passwords in one secure location, offering convenience and identity protection. With the included MojoDrive software, users can now take their favorite software programs and documents with them when they travel during the holidays. Programs and applications installed on the MojoDrive-equipped StealthSurfer can be run from a temporary computer location without affecting the host computer – ideal when traveling or using public computers.
