NEW DELHI: eLearning firm Hurix
Systems Pvt. Ltd plans to hire more people over the next 12 months in
Chennai.
The company has increased its overall headcount by around 200% in the last
fiscal. The headcount grew by 570% from 35 to 200. The Chennai facility was
set-up in November 2002.
Hurix plans to recruit more freshers and experienced professionals from the
fine arts and the English literature streams. The company's headcount is
expected to touch 600 by the end of the fiscal year.
The firm's current strength of nearly 450 employees in Chennai and Mumbai
includes graphic designers and content developers apart from IT specialists.
"The eLearning industry is growing in leaps and bounds, but we are
growing much faster. Hurix is set to become one of the major players in this
space. We are already doing business with all the major global publishing
houses. Constant efforts are taken to ensure that the momentum of our
exponential growth does not flag. Our hiring volumes reflect this. We also make
continuous investments in technology and skills training to complement the
growth in manpower”, said Viswamitra Hariharan, COO, Hurix Systems.
The company's hiring program includes campus recruitment and professional
training workshops.
