Hughes Software Systems launches Campus@NET

Hughes Software Systems (HSS), a communications software company, has launched Campus@NET, a placement
preparation program for engineering graduates on its website

The Campus@NET Program
is a web-based information site that disseminates useful information,
career tips and tests for engineering students preparing for placement
this year.

Students have to register
online at to participate
in the Campus@NET program.

The program, which
is expected to run on the site for eight weeks from July 1, 1999, will
have one additional section every week for students to prepare themselves
for aptitude tests, offer interview and career tips and also disseminate
information on career opportunities in emerging technology domains like
internet telephony, next generation network management, embedded software,
satellite and mobile communication systems.

HSS is offers a full
spectrum of communications related software services, products and solutions.

OEM offerings from
HSS include ProtoQuick Protocol Stacks, Signaling Inter-working Functions
and IntelliQuick Intelligent Peripheral.

Telco offerings include
IntelliQuick Mediation Device Systems, Inter-working Gateways and Electronic
Bill Presentment and Payment solutions.

A subsidiary of Hughes
Network Systems (HNS), a Hughes Electronics company, HSS has two state-of-the
art development centers in India.

HSS has three sales
and support offices in the US and is represented in major countries of
