NEW DELHI: IP networking solutions provider Huawei-3Com (H3C) has announced that its main LAN switches have earned feature/functionality certification by The Tolly Group, a third-party information technology testing, research and certification organisation.

H3C said in a statement that the results offer further validation of the quality of its enterprise networking infrastructure product lines.

Tolly Group engineers validated key features and functions of H3C’s S3100, S3600, S3610, S5100, S5510, S5500-SI, S5600, S7500 and S9500 LAN switches, and the H3C AR46 series routers.

In addition, The Tolly Group administered a thorough test of the new features and technologies found in the H3C Multi-Service Router (MSR) series, the statement addded.

“Product quality is our lifeblood and it is the first thing we consider when conceptualizing a new product line,” said Henry Tso, chief technology officer at H3C. “By working with world-class testing labs like The Tolly Group to evaluate product performance, H3C offers its customers high quality networking products with proven features and functions they demand.”

Now H3C has penetrated into the world enterprise networking market based on the high quality and value of its products. The products are deployed in more than 90 countries.

The Tolly Group tests confirmed that H3C’s products enjoy optimal performance and interoperability with switches from Cisco Systems, Inc.

“We are glad to see that all the tests have verified the overall excellent performance of H3C’s products. We have the most comprehensive switch product line, catering to core-to-edge layer applications in both large enterprises and SMB users. We are also one of the very few IP networking vendors who deliver full series of multi-service routers (MSR). Inviting The Tolly Group to test our products is another clear message of our confidence in the features and functions of H3C product portfolio,” said William Wang, director of Product Marketing for H3C.

“With H3C products, our customers can benefit from a highly available, secure and high-speed network environment,” he added.
