HTMT looking for channel partners to push e-port

BANGALORE: Bangalore based Hinduja TMT (HTMT) has chalked out plans to

aggresively market its recently launched e-port. e-port is a

platform-independent Web enabled product that has been designed to address the

HR needs of the Indian medium to large enterprises.

According to an HTMT spokesperson, one of the unique features of e-port is

its Key Result Area (KRA) module that provides an edge over competition.

The company is looking at distribution through partners with competence in

human resource segment and through channels. The spokesperson said the company

plans to first tap Bangalore and Hyderabad markets and then move on to different

parts of the country. HTMT is in the process of signing up with a Hyderabad

based reseller to push its product in that region.

The company is targetting its existing customers with whom it has worked for

ERP solutions. Also, the company which participated in the Bangalore IT.com is

confident of closing the sale by March 2002, to 20 odd corporates who showed

interest in the product.

Also, the company is working with Ashok Leyland to develop a supply chain

management solution.
