HTC has announced a new smartphone named HTC U11 + in India at Rs 56,990. The smartphone will come in Amazing Silver color and will be exclusively available on Flipkart today onwards. The device will soon be available in Ceramic Black color too.

The phone sports a 6-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the HTC U11+ is same as the U11 with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835c SoC, 64 GB storage + 4 GB RAM and an expandable memory of up to 2 TB via a microSD card. The phone will run on Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box overlaying HTC Sense.

In the camera department, the phone has a 12-megapixel single lens camera with a f/1.7 aperture and dual-LED flash. The phone can shoot 4K video at 60 fps and also has OIS. The front camera has an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

The phone features EdgeSense Technology, which can launch the camera and snap photos, call up a voice assistant, open any app and more with just a squeeze. You can also squeeze Edge Sense to access Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. No need to say “OK Google” or “Alexa,” just squeeze and ask your question to get nearly instant results.

The connectivity options include dual nano-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, type-C port with USB 3.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and also has IP68 Water protection.
