HTC partners with Idea

NEW DELHI, INDIA: HTC Corp., a provider in mobile phone services and IDEA Cellular, a telecom service provider, today announced that they have entered to alliance to provide HTC Touch Pro (T7276) and the HTC Touch Viva (T2223) for the Indian customers.

The HTC Touch Pro and Touch Viva provide customers with two strong choices that can meet their different needs, said a press release.

“HTC Touch Pro and Touch Viva perfectly embody our commitment to build a family of touch phones that are powerful, stylish and offer something for everyone,” said Jack Tong, vice president, HTC Asia.

The HTC Touch Pro offers an elegant and sophisticated touch screen experience for intuitive navigation and a full-featured QWERTY keyboard for text entry.

The Touch Pro also introduces a new, five-row QWERTY keyboard layout that makes typing-intensive tasks like composing email or working on Microsoft Office documents quick and easy, it said.

It even features a built-in TV-out functionality that would enable in PowerPoint presentations.

The HTC Touch Viva comprises the best elements of the touch screen experience. It features a sharp 2.8 screen that helps in easy navigation contacts, media and web pages it helps the users to easily flip through the album artwork, pictures and videos etc, the release added.
