HP's LaserJet portfolio gets attractive

NEW DELHI, INDIA: HP India is all set to woo customers with its new extended warranty scheme. Valid on four of HP’s star printers across the LaserJet portfolio – HP LaserJet M1522mf, HP Colour LaserJet CP1215n, HP LaserJet P2035n and HP LaserJet P2055d – the three-year warranty scheme is a surprise package for customers who would otherwise have got only the standard one-year warranty.

The extended warranty scheme is available for purchases made between July 25 and September 30, 2009. To avail the offer, all a customer needs is to log on to: www.hp.com/in/printerpromo within 15 days of purchase and register / redeem his claim as per program Terms and Conditions.

Additionally, HP is also driving its new LaserJet campaign – ‘Power Your Growth’ – with full throttle, by creating customer awareness about the enhanced savings offered by the company’s LaserJet range of printers. The multiple features of the new LaserJet solutions can help save up to 50 per cent more on energy and paper costs.

The main planks of the campaign are HP’s Instant-on Technology and Duplex Printing. Instant-on Technology found in HP LaserJet devices uses 50% less energy than traditional fusing while offering up to 50% faster first page out speed. It requires four times less energy when idle and 1.4 times less energy when copying, when compared to other printers. HP has been able to announce significant energy savings on its current LaserJet printers of up to 174 per cent against competition.

Duplex printing, also referred to as two-sided printing, allows users to print on both sides of the page, cutting paper use by up to 50 per cent. Precision double-sided printing in A3/A4 sizes is a practical way to print large documents in an easy-to-read format. Also, HP auto-duplex units found in many HP LaserJets significantly reduce paper usage and wastage by allowing automatic double-sided printing.
