HP unveils smart printers for small offices

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Hewlett-Packard (HP) India, today announced that it has launched its new printing solutions for home consumers and growing businesses. The all new OfficeJet (OJ) 4500 All-in-One series are high-performance, energy-efficient printing devices, which are stylish, and designed for users looking for convenience of a multifunctional, yet compact device. The two variants of the new all-in-one include the HP Officejet 4500 Desktop and the network-enabled HP Officejet 4500.

The printer is ideal for small offices, these energy-star qualified devices promise impressive print quality at low cost per page, and provide users with the convenience of a multi-functional (Print/ Scan/ Copy/ Fax), said a press release.

Elaborating on the launch, Rajkumar Rishi, director, Inkjet and Web Solutions, Imaging and Printing Group, HP India said, “Our aim is to increase penetration of ink, and empower users by providing increased task efficiency, and reduced cost per page, thereby helping them stay on task at work or home.”

He added that The OJ 4500 series is designed to fulfill the imaging and printing needs of customers, and help them have access to affordable technical expertise.

The company also provides customized cartridges, which are designed for the company’s inkjet portfolio, and ensure that hidden costs, including those related to ink and paper wastage are avoided, while the output quality and consistency remain unmatched, when compared to refills.

Additionally, the multi-functional devices come equipped with the HP Smart Web Printing, which lets users control and select what they want to print from the Internet, and save paper and ink by bringing it together on one page.  The sleek-looking flatbed all-in-ones come with built-in fax, and prints professional quality color affordably, the release added.

Economical and steady, the new OfficeJet series are light on consumer’s pocket; the HP Officejet 4500 Desktop All-in-One is priced at Rs.6999, while the HP Officejet 4500 All-in-One comes at a price of Rs.7999.
