Hewlett Packard India Ltd. (HPI), as part of its electronic services strategy, would focus
on enabling Indian companies ready their businesses for a new digital economy.
HPI, President Ganesh Ayyar said that, HP had drawn up a
force multiplier strategy for making its customers more efficient and competitive. HP
would partner organizations to help them implement e-service initiatives through a
combination of innovative financing solutions and delivering dynamic technologies such as
e-speak, CHAI and Web QoS, that form the building blocks for delivering the e-services.
E-speak is a technology designed to enable e-services to
interact with each other. CHAI is an integrated software suite for applications that link
devices to services and Web QoS is a software that helps optimize resources by
prioritizing uses and applications.
Enterprise Computing Sales Organizations (a division of HPI), Vice President Stacy Plemmons stated, "that e-services will act as resources to
other applications and can be performed, initiated, scheduled or committed by software or
with or without human intervention. This is HP's vision of the new digital economy, where
the Net works for the users."
