HP unveils new range of notebooks

NEW DELHI: In continuation with its efforts to move towards the digital entertainment era, HP has announced the launch of Compaq Presario V2000 range of notebooks.

In the digital entertainment series, the company has introduced two new notebooks Compaq Presario V2036AP Portable and Compaq Presario V2035AP Portable. The notebooks are priced at Rs 69,990 and Rs 54,990 respectively.





Informing about the newly launched notebook range, HP India Sales Pvt Ltd personal systems group VP Ravi Swaminathan said, "HP aims to meet the mobile consumer's demand for recreation, connectivity and productivity while on move. So, with a good number of people demanding anywhere connectivity, today's office environment require us to be connected on the go. A product like this will help people stay connected to their working environment, on an always on mode."





"The target market that we are looking at would be SOHO, students, professional and even a family person. The Compaq Presario V2000 range is a take anywhere entertainment companion, designed to meet customer's growing need for anywhere, anytime digital entertainment," he added.





Offering a cinema-like experience, the Compaq Presario V2000 is having a 14.0" high definition widescreen display with a 15:9 aspect ratio. "This feature gives our customers a lot more viewing area and it will help to better view the movies on this product," Swaminathan added.





Combined with Intel 855 GM chipsets, the V2000 range of notebooks features wireless mobility and WXGA resolution of 1280 by 768. Tools like Win DVD Creator 2.0, bluetooth and iTunes are integrated within the package that comes with the Compaq Presario V2000 range.
