HP slashes notebook prices by 3-6%

NEW DELHI: Hewlett-Packard India Pvt Ltd (HP), has slashed the prices of its notebooks across all categories. The price drop will vary from three percent to six percent across various models.





According to the company, this price reduction is a reflection of its commitment to pass on the benefit of the duty cuts to the customer. Speaking on the occasion, said HP India Personal Systems Group VP Ravi Swaminathan, "Notebooks represent a high potential market experiencing an average annual growth of around 80 percent. We expect the budget announcement to further accelerate the growth of this market."





"The decision further enhances our commitment to make technology more affordable to the masses coupled with an attractive value proposition," he added.
