BANGALORE: Hewlett-Packard Company is setting up an 'HP Computer Lab' at BSAP
Girls’ High School premises in Bangalore. The lab will provide students and
faculty, access to high-quality technology learning resources.
The Computer Lab, with state-of-the-art equipment will provide students and
teachers at BSAP to be in touch with the latest methods in teaching. The lab is
self-contained with HP Brio PCs.
HP India president Arun Thiagarajan said, "It is extremely important to
nurture young minds, allow space to express and let their imagination soar.
Through this program, we wish BSAP Girls’ School will be able to provide to
the young citizens of this country an environment to learn and the will to
conquer."

Girls’ School now has the opportunity to prepare young minds for a digital
tomorrow," said S P Sarathy, president, BSAP Girls’ School Trust.
"With technology, our teachers and students will have access to more modern
teaching methods and we thank HP for this gift," he added.
HP India has, in this year alone, set up Computer Labs in seven schools, five
out of which are in Bangalore.
HP and its people are actively working world over to improve the quality of
elementary, secondary and higher education through various philanthropic
programs. More than 70 per cent of HP's philanthropy is given to the area of
education. Over the past 20 years, HP has given more than $1 billion in
philanthropic grants.
