HP selected by Holy Cross Health System for IT Service Management

BANGALORE: Hewlett-Packard Company has announced that Holy Cross Health System Corporation

(HCHSC) has deployed the HP OpenView suite of enterprise-management solutions to manage its IT service-management operations. HP OpenView solutions, significant portion of which is developed at Hewlett-Packard India Software Operations (HP-ISO), provided HCHSC with an enterprise view and proactive management of its IT operations.

In addition, service-management solutions enable HCHSC to quantify IT services to its business customers, enabling customers to better understand and partner with IT in the enhancement and development of services. HCHSC has deployed HP OpenView solutions to measure system performance, identify bottlenecks, identify needed capacity enhancements, and report on the performance against service-level agreements (SLAs) with its customer base. HCHSC said it selected HP OpenView for its openness; its service-management orientation; and its modular approach to enterprise management, which focuses on customers' problem areas and provides them with the exact solutions they need without adding unnecessary components.
