HP to buy print services company Printelligent

SAN FRANCISCO, USA: Hewlett Packard on Monday agreed to acquire privately-owned printing services company Printelligent to expand its offerings to small and medium-sized businesses.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Salt Lake City, Utah-based Printelligent offers managed printing services, which includes providing everything from printers to copiers to software to services, typically on a contract basis.

Printelligent will be merged into HP's Imaging and Printing Group within the LaserJet and Enterprise Solutions unit, HP said.

The acquisition is expected to close in the fiscal third quarter.
