HP launches 'Touchsmart' printers

NEW DELHI: HP India unveiled its new range of touch-enabled Photosmart printers. Better known as the HP Touchsmart series, these stylishly designed printers will allow users to experience one touch printing.

According to a report by Technopak, digital accessories form 13 percent of the luxury market, and by 2015, the Indian touchscreen market is expected to hit $9 billion, with a CAGR of 14 percent.

The designs of the new printer line-up have been inspired by renowned fashion designer Ritu Beri. “I am excited to be co-opting with the technology leader, HP, in this endeavor to blend lifestyle with technology. Drawing inspiration from the smooth finish of the new Touchsmart, my collection personifies sophistication and elegance.

It defines the free-spirited modern woman, who enjoys independence and creates her own style! The collection is elegant yet comfortable. I believe in creating clothes that are wearable, just like the HP Photosmart printers, where technology adds to the consumer experience.” The launch saw models walking the ramp in colorful designs by Ritu Beri, holding the printers.
