NEW DELHI: Hewlett-Packard India has announced the launch of hp Scanjet
4400c, a flatbed one-pass color and monochrome scanner targeted at photo
enthusiasts. The hp Scanjet 4400c is available at a street price of Rs 10,999.
The scanner offers a new feature of instant photo formatting, which enables
users to effortlessly arrange a photo into a wallet and 4*6-inch sizes on a
single page. The photo formatting software provides templates to help minimize
paper wastage and make most of the photo paper. In addition the ACDSee software
in hp Scanjet 4400c makes it very easy to view and mange photos.
The hp Scanjet 4400c also offers new scan-to-CD feature, which helps users to
scan and archive more photos and images on CD-ROM with the CD-writer. The
scanner has HP's exclusive dual sensor CCD (charge coupled device) technology
with upto 1200 dpi optical resolution and 48-bit color and 13-second preview
scans.
The hp Scanjet 4400c offers the ease of 'one-touch operation' through the
panel buttons "scan to," "email," "power save,"
"photo reprint" and "copy" for optimize scans. One can share
documents like photos with friends and family effortlessly with
"e-mail" button. The "copy" button saves time and expenses
by sending copies directly to the printer. Designing newsletters and calendars
could be done at ease with the "photo reprint" button.
HP Scanjets comes with a one-year hardware warranty, one-year telephone
support, unlimited 24-hour web support at and an optional HP SupportPack.
