"The introduction of the new range strengthens our lifestyle portfolio, and will help us grow in the lifestyle computing market by around 50 per cent within this fiscal," Mr Ravi Swaminathan, President-Personal Systems Group, HP India said.

HP India launched a HP TouchSmart, India's first 20-inch-screen entertainment notebook, `The Dragon', and HP iPAQ 512 Voice Messenger, in the Indian market.

To further strengthen the operations with an aggressive `go-to-market' strategy, the company plans to expand its retail footprint across 500 cities and expand the retail partner network to over 2,000 by the end of the current financial year.
