HP launches hp Scanjet 2200c for home users

NEW DELHI: Hewlett-Packard has announced the launch of hp scanjet 2200c.
Targeted at home users, Scanjet 2200c is HP's slimmest flatbed color and
monochrome scanner value packed and easy to use. The hp Scanjet 2200c is
available at a street price of Rs 6,299.

The hp Scanjet 2200c offers the ease of 'one-touch operation' to scan and
copy in color with 600-dpi optical resolution and 42-bit color. It can scan
photos, text, graphics and even 3D objects like bound books quickly and easily
with HP's exclusive Precisionscan LTX software. The scanner

offers preview speed of 18 seconds.

The scanner is compatible with many of the latest PC operating systems and
has a USB port, which makes the installation process a breeze. Other value adds
include OCR (optical character recognition) software capability, which can
convert documents into electronic files for editing and Adobe ActiveShare images
editing and management software.
