HP introduces Visualize P-class personal workstations

BANGALORE: Hewlett-Packard (HP) has introduced the HP Visualize P600C, P650C and P700C personal workstations, which are based on the Intel(R) Pentium(R) III processors.



"HP is always evaluating new technology to ensure we are providing our customers with the best means to get their jobs done," said HP Enterprise Computing Sales Organization vice president Stacy Plemmons. The new HP Visualize personal workstations with Intel’s new Pentium III processors with advanced transfer cache are ideal for engineers, designers, scientists and artists who visually interact with large models in complex workflow environments. The systems’ graphics performance provides mechanical-design automation and digital-content-creation customers with a wider range of options, including entry-level and midrange 3-D graphics.



The Visualize personal workstations also include advanced compute power i.e. single or dual 600/650/700MHz Intel Pentium III processors with transfer cache, 128MB to 768MB main memory, the Intel 440BX AGP chipset and a 100MHz front side bus; integration into UNIX system environments -- NFS Client and X-Server; UNIX system command utilities and shell; upto 36GB internal disk, choice of CD devices; HP TopTools 4.5, HP MaxiLife, HP UltraFlow cooling system.
