HP India names Rajiv Srivastava as COO

NEW DELHI, INDIA: It major Hewlett-Packard (HP) India announced on on Wednesday the appointment of Rajiv Srivastava as its chief operating officer.

In his current role, Srivastava will be part of the central leadership team of HP in India and will be responsible for driving the company’s growth and business performance, HP said in a statement. He will be in charge of managing the overall commercial and financial impact across all organizational decisions and activities.

While making the announcement, HP India managing director Neelam Dhawan said India is an important growth market for HP.

“Srivastava brings with him a vast pool of experience and proven business leadership skills. With his strategic insights, he will be able to bring immense value to the organization and help drive business to the next level,” Dhawan added.

An engineering graduate from BITS Pilani, and an MBA holder the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi, Srivastava was earlier associated with Microsoft.
