Honeywell India announces alliance with Network Solutions

BANGALORE: Honeywell India Software Operations (HISO), a wholly owned

subsidiary of US-based Honeywell and Network Solutions Ltd., have announced a

joint partnership in the area of e-business software solutions for the Indian

market.

As a result of this partnership, Network Solutions will integrate, market and

maintain the e-business products and solutions of the Honeywell India Software

operation. Speaking on the occasion, Honeywell chief technology officer Dr Kris

Burhardt said, "HISO is becoming an integral part of our product

development organization. Its success is mainly due to the high caliber and

quality of people in India."

Honeywell India Software Operation managing director Dr Krishna Mikkilineni

said, "HISO has been developing high technology and mission-critical

software in the controls environment for the past four years."

Honeywell is ambitious about this partnership and is confident that this

partnership would enable the delivery of Internet solutions in India through

Network Solutions' strong background in systems integration and software

development as well as their understanding of the marketplace.
