HMS for capital cost cuts and better staff use

FRANKLIN, USA: Healthcare Management Systems, Inc. announced that Aspire Hospital, a physician-owned, 30-bed specialty hospital in Conroe, Texas, has selected the integrated clinical and financial applications from HMS and an intuitive, integrated Physician Documentation application from Patient Logic.

Aspire Hospital chose to have the HMS enterprise EHR and Physician Documentation application remotely hosted and managed through HMS DirectSM. Through this hosting option, the fully integrated solution is delivered via a secure, high-speed connection and provides a direct path to meeting Meaningful Use and Healthcare Reform requirements. HMS Direct provides for quicker implementation, reduction of upfront capital costs and improved utilization of the hospital's IT staff since all backups and maintenance are handled by HMS staff, as added in a press update.
