Hightail gets a World Cup makeover

BANGALORE, INDIA: As excitement builds around the World Cup in Brazil, file sharing service Hightail is celebrating its love for the global game on its homepage, www.hightail.com.

Hightail is showcasing a series of extraordinary football-themed photographs by Brazilian photographer Caio Vilela. He has travelled the world photographing the world's favourite game being played in a variety of locations, from the Great Wall of China to the foothills of the Himalayas and, of course, on the beaches and dirt fields of his native Brazil.

"Soccer is so dynamic and fun to photograph," explains Vilela. "Every game has a different rhythm and mood. Some are pure fun, some are fast and serious. Every time I visit a football pitch there is a surprise waiting."

Throughout the month-long tournament, www.hightail.com will feature a new photograph every day, forming a unique artistic accompaniment to the festival of futebol happening in Brazil.

Vilela's photographs will also appear on Highly Inspired, a Tumblr page dedicated to showcasing the photography and art of Hightail's 45 million registered users.
