Hexaware launches center in Gurgaon

GURGAON: Hexaware Technologies today launched its fourth development centre in India at Cyber Park, Gurgaon. The center is Hexaware’s first in North India. Nasscom president Kiran Karnik inaugurated the delivery center today.

“The reason for opening the fourth development centre in Gurgaon is to tap the talent in North India. In the first phase we have set up our fourth centre in India with an initial capacity for 150 people. With in the next two –three years, we will increase the capacity to accommodate more than 1000 people, in a phased manner,” said Atul Nishar, founder and chairman, Hexaware Technologies.

VB Singh will head the centre which will provide testing services, ERP services, Product Engineering Services and TTHL services.

Hexaware currently employs more than 5800 professionals throughout the world. It has six global delivery centers with four in India and one each in Germany and Mexico.

The company expects to complete its Chennai campus in the third quarter of 2007. The company has also acquired 25 acres of land in Hinjewadi Phase III SEZ and another 14 acres in New Mumbai to build state-of-the-art campuses.
